How do I register for courses?
Once you have been formally admitted to ASU and have been accepted in the Online GIT Graduate Degree Program, you need to request for an ASU e-mail account, because you will need your ASURITE ID and password in order to log on to the online courses. Go to https://author1.asu.edu/cgi-bin/WebObjects/APSelfSub to self subscribe. You must know your ASU nine-digit ID number in order to self-subscribe. Once this is done, you can register for your online courses.

What is the length of the sessions?
- All spring and summer sessions will be 12 weeks long.
- The online fall session begins the first week of the regular fall session in august and ends three weeks earlier than the regular 15-week session.
- The winter cohort start-up session will be in January. The exact dates and times will be announced later.
- The online spring session begins at the same time as the regular spring session and ends three weeks earlier than the regular 15-week session.

Where are the classes located? Are they all at the Polytechnic campus?
This is a totally online degree. We will meet one time when the cohort begins, one time in the middle of the degree, and at the end when the students defends.

Who is the contact for the students throughout their time in the program?
Dr. Schildgen will be the initial contact with students when they enter the cohort. After that, the chair of their graduate committee will be the primary contact.
