How will my courses transfer to ASU and my selected Major? 

  • ASU Transfer Policies
    (We cannot provide unofficial transcript evaluation prior to admission to ASU)
  • Arizona Course Applicability System (CAS), Arizona universities and community colleges have worked together to develop a system for helping you see how courses taken at any Arizona public community college will transfer to a selected major.
  • Out of State Transfer student will have there transcripts evaluated for general studies by appointment with the Academic Advising Coordinator upon acceptance to the College. All Major requirements are evaluated and approved within the department of your major.

Steps to becoming an Undergraduate at ASU’s Polytechnic campus:

  1. Determine which degree you intend to seek. Curriculum Check sheets
  2. Complete application for admission
  3. Request transcripts and test scores to be sent to ASU
  4. Verify MMR immunization
  5. Apply for financial aid and scholarships 
  6. Obtain a catalog, view university requirements and read course descriptions.
  7. Attend an orientation program
  8. Seek academic advisement; register (PDF document)
  9. Obtain student ID card during orientation or at the ASUE Registration site.
  10. Make living arrangements
  11. Investigate meal plan options
  12. Pay tuition and fees
